Qualification & Experience: A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or an equivalent level of experience is required. A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience is expected in the following areas or their equivalents:
Proficiency in Data Exploration and Analysis using tools such as Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Monitor, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Explorer, and Power BI.
Expertise in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence, with practical experience in tools like Azure Machine Learning, Azure Cognitive Services, and Azure AutoML.
Strong understanding of Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) design, including SQL Server, T-SQL, Oracle, or similar systems.
Capability in Power BI Python and R Integration, along with proficiency in Power Query M Language.
Preferred Background & Qualifications: Familiarity with scientific data software, medical devices, or healthcare software is desirable (Data Scientist).

Utilize machine learning and AI methodologies for data analysis, deriving predictive insights from complex datasets.
Design and incorporate sophisticated analytical models into Azure Synapse and Power BI dashboards to enhance data visualization and interpretation.
Work closely with Business Analysts to transform business requirements into actionable data science projects, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
Perform any additional duties and responsibilities as delegated or assigned.

In-depth comprehension of laboratory workflows and processes: Enables the Data Scientist to discern pertinent features and patterns within LIMS data.

Awareness of clinical terminology and procedures: Ability to articulate findings in terms understandable to lab directors and clinical staff.
Understanding of relevant clinical research methods and statistical analysis: Facilitates the design of reliable and impactful clinical studies, especially when predictive models are employed (Data Scientist).
