Job Description
The Virtual Expert Platform (VEP) as a Staff Technical Program Manager. The Virtual Expert Platform team is building the platform to enable delivery of expertise that powers the fastest growing businesses at Intuit.

We are looking for candidates who have strong program management experience with deep technical understanding, customer empathy, strong execution capability, and a track record of building strong business partnerships and delivering impactful business results.
The role is responsible for stewarding critical strategic initiatives and driving the delivery of transformational change by providing leadership and direction to assigned software programs.
8+ years Technical Program Management experience involving business, operational, and technology deliverables.
Experience driving planning, execution, and operations for large programs in partnership with engineering, product management.
Proven ability to work in a matrixed environment, and ability to influence at all levels.
Demonstrated ability to build and lead integrated teams from various internal and external organizations across multiple locations.
Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Effective consultative and influencing approach.
Motivated self-starter with an attention to detail, but who’s also flexible and able to innovate under new and/or changing conditions.
Strong analytical skills.
Ability to communicate objectives, plans, status and results clearly, focusing on critical key points.
Proven ability in unearthing and managing risks in the program.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with programs for consumer software product delivery experience is strongly preferred over IT program experience (e.g. infrastructure, networking, hardware, security, business operations, etc.).Experience managing programs around platform experience is a plus.
Roles and Responsibilities
Directs large-scale, complex consumer software programs often involving multiple matrixed, internal and external cross-functional teams.
Anticipate, recognize, and work through resistance or setbacks independently, work well with others when conflicts arise: see opportunities, ensure alignment with objectives, find common ground and promote understanding of alternative viewpoints before driving for closure and cooperation.
Develop & deliver plans that encompass all phases of planning, implementation, production readiness and support.
Quickly and effectively, identify and clarify the critical few issues and drive appropriate decisions and actions. Communicate results clearly and in actionable form.
Communicate progress across organizational boundaries and levels from individual contributor to senior executive.
Collaborate with leadership to identify short and long-term trade-offs, and balance the needs of all stakeholders.
Drive cultural change across the organization to deliver next generation offerings.
Validates financial forecasts and provides ongoing reconciliation of resources and other related program expenditures, as needed.
