SAP India – Hiring Senior Digital Customer Engagement Manager – SAP Basis Technical Consultant
Job Description:
The mission of the Private Cloud Customer Centre is to facilitate the smooth integration of the innovative RISE SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud Edition solution among customers, employing a Shared Services model. This dedicated unit is committed to implementing inventive and standardized digital methodologies for delivering managed services, emphasizing scalability and resilience, in order to fulfill contracted responsibilities to customers.
The Senior Digital Customer Engagement Manager (dCEM) assumes responsibility for end-to-end virtual customer engagement and the delivery of contractual agreements and services for SAP Cloud Customers within SAP Enterprise Cloud Services. The primary focus lies in the delivery of SAP S/4HANA private cloud edition services. Operating within European time zones, this role caters specifically to European customers. Key responsibilities include:
Facilitating the transition from sales to delivery, overseeing customer onboarding, and managing technical aspects such as IP ranges, Load Balancer setup requirements, and VPN networks.
Handling support tickets, acting as a bridge between customer queries and technical operations teams.
Conducting periodic service reviews to assess service quality across diverse customers.
Orchestrating overall service delivery in alignment with agreed-upon SLAs and KPIs.
Offering ongoing technical support to customers throughout their engagement with SAP Enterprise Cloud Services.
Proactively monitoring, handling, and resolving tickets with regular and transparent communication.
Assisting in de-escalating critical customer situations and reviewing SLA service credit cases.
Contributing to customer Go-Lives, Release Upgrades, and maintenance activities.
Executing and supporting problem management and continuous improvement initiatives.
Participating in customer satisfaction surveys and handling commercial change requests.
Collaborating with various SAP stakeholders, including Sales, Presales, Renewals teams, and Customer Success partners, to ensure overall customer success.
Responsibilities and Role Overview:
Operate within the European time zone.
Hold an engineering degree with over 10 years of experience as an SAP technical consultant in customer-facing and supporting roles, encompassing IT services in Cloud environments, consulting, and IT BASIS support.
Possess robust knowledge of SAP Basis, SAP ERP modules, and proficiency in tools such as TSM, BODI application, and databases including HANA, ASE, Sybase, and Oracle.
Demonstrate substantial hands-on experience in SAP Basis activities, technical support in Cloud environments (especially with hyperscalers), OS/DB migration, SAP release upgrades, and infrastructure updates for cloud customers.
Provide technical and application expertise for various cloud solutions, including S/4HANA or other private cloud options.
Serve as a Database Administrator, offering professional expertise and practical assistance in managing database systems and ensuring IT data compliance throughout the lifecycle, in line with defined quality criteria.
Exhibit a solid understanding of infrastructure operations and processes, along with proficiency in escalation handling and procedures.
Showcase excellent customer focus, networking, relationship-building, results-driven attitude, self-organization skills, and effective decision-making capabilities.
Demonstrate experience in collaborating with cross-cultural and cross-functional teams or individuals.
