Job Description:
As a Senior Business System Analyst (SBSA), you’ll embark on an exciting journey as a vital member of our CRM team dedicated to crafting a cutting-edge customer data platform using Epsilon’s acclaimed CDP product – People Cloud Customer. Your responsibilities will encompass overseeing client deliverables in our multi-channel marketing initiatives. This multifaceted role demands a blend of business acumen and technical prowess, positioning you as the primary conduit between clients and technical teams. Within the CRM Technology organization, you’ll assume a pivotal role spanning various facets of the SDLC, from requirements gathering and documentation to design and testing. Additionally, collaboration with the Project Manager (or Account Manager) will be integral to ensuring seamless project delivery.
As a Senior Business System Analyst specializing in CRM, your role will encompass a range of crucial tasks:
Spearhead the documentation process and meticulously review all business requirements, data prerequisites, and operational regulations outlined in the requirements document.
Conduct in-depth assessments of data quality and offer strategic recommendations for necessary modifications.
Establish a comprehensive traceability framework linking all business requirements to functional and non-functional specifications, encompassing data exchange, warehouse/mart processing, business rules, and end-user scenarios such as campaigns, reports, and analytics.
Drive thorough product fitment analyses, identifying areas of misalignment and crafting detailed specifications to address these gaps effectively.
Execute precise source-to-target mappings and develop API specifications encompassing endpoints, authentication protocols, and encryption methods.
Assist in the seamless onboarding of multiple vendors and data sources onto the Epsilon solution.
Capitalize on collaborative relationships with client services and cultivate strong client rapport to ensure flawless project execution.
Establish yourself as an invaluable resource and trusted advisor to client teams, offering insights and guidance from a BSA perspective.
Conduct productive client meetings, ensuring a clear understanding of deliverables and actively driving towards successful outcomes.
Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices, standards, and methodologies surrounding business and data analysis, fostering continuous improvement within the organization.
Qualifications:
Demonstrate a solid grasp of CRM and marketing principles, including familiarity with various marketing channels such as Direct Mail, Email, and Mobile.
Proven track record in translating intricate business requirements into clear and concise functional or business specifications.
Strong understanding of data warehousing and data mart concepts, facilitating effective data management practices.
Proficiency in assembling, analyzing, and interpreting data, enabling informed decision-making to drive business objectives.
Advanced expertise in SQL, essential for data querying and manipulation tasks.
Sound comprehension of API technologies, including JSON, XML, and SOAP UI.
Ability to adeptly juggle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and swiftly adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, crucial for conveying complex ideas and collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
Proven ability to collaborate seamlessly with global teams, leveraging diversity for optimal outcomes.
Aptitude for mentoring and providing guidance to less experienced colleagues, fostering professional growth within the team.
