Job Description
Designs, develops, validates, and debugs software to enable Data Platform features to optimize for cloud, hybrid cloud, and/or on-PREM deployment models on technologies like, Hadoop, Kubernetes, Azure DataBricks, Azure DevOps and Snowflake.
Understands partner software stacks and optimizes as required to enable cloud and on-premises software.
May include the development of reference cloud platform software and improving or enabling customer designs to obtain the greatest value for our customers.
May specialize in specific technology domains including data services (ingestion, database, analytics), and opensource development projects.
Day to day duties will include perform Capability Engineering for Cloud Data Analytics and Big Data Analytics, including interfacing with internal customers to understand their requirements and collaborating within the team to meet those requirements.
Work Experience
Rich experience in Automation and Scripting, using Python, Shell Script, Ansible etc. technologies.
Should have DevOps experience, i.e., maintaining Code repos and CI/CD configuration using Github and/or Azure DevOps.
Experience with Observability tools, like Nagios, New Relic, Grafana etc.
Soft Skills: Critical thinking, excellent verbal/written communication, and presentation skills along with, strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Managing Kubernetes Clusters, including skills of deploying pods, services, and deployments.
Hadoop Platform and Big Data Technologies, like Spark, Hive, HBase, Impala etc.
Azure Cloud Data Analytics Experience in technologies like, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Snowflake.Technical knowledge in Linux Administration on RedHat and CentOS.
