As a Software Engineer with the ShareFile Clients team, you become an integral part of a squad that directly influences our mission. Your role involves crafting ShareFile client tools, contributing to the next phase of the digital frontier for knowledge workers. Your objective is clear: empower Windows desktop users of ShareFile to effortlessly and seamlessly manage and share their content.
Position Summary: Software Engineer
Now, delving into the specifics. This position will function as a collaborative team member, emphasizing the enhancement of the ShareFile client experience specifically tailored for Windows users.
Strategic Approach: Software Engineer
Crafting Appropriate Solutions: Collaborate with stakeholders to comprehend their requirements and guarantee the timely provision of essential components.
Adaptability: Engage in a collaborative team responsible for overseeing the development of ShareFile clients on Windows, Apple, and Android platforms, along with managing the integration of the associated code pipeline.
Implementation: Software Engineer
Skilful Execution: Make significant contributions of high quality to the design and implementation of systems and user experiences associated with Windows desktop client applications.
Engaging with Stakeholders: Actively participate in routine interactions with crucial cross-functional stakeholders, including other engineering teams, product design, project management, marketing, and operations.
Experience and Skill Requirements: Software Engineer
A minimum of 2 years of pertinent .NET software engineering experience.
Practical expertise in employing web debugging and troubleshooting solutions.
Proficiency in working with databases, with a preference for experience with SQL Server or SQLite.
Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git or BitBucket.
Strong problem-solving and software debugging skills.
Previous experience in engineering performant and scalable native Windows applications using Visual Studio (C/C++, C#, WPF).
Experience in integrating applications as plug-ins or add-ins within the Microsoft Office ecosystem.
Prior exposure to working with Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
