Responsibilities: Key objectives for this role encompass
Ensuring the timely completion of assigned Intercompany accounting (IC) and other General Ledger (GL) closing tasks.
Monitoring the month-end closing progress in accordance with the closing calendar and promptly communicating any delays to the Manager.
Proactively tracking IC and other GL closing-related issues, and collaborating with IT and other functional owners to ensure the timely resolution of identified problems.
Providing essential business requirements to support various IC and GL projects.
Reviewing journal entries, reconciliations, and roll forwards during the month-end closing process.
Assisting in conducting flux analysis for balance sheet accounts.
Collaborating closely with other teams to resolve issues and open items in reconciliations.
Serving as a point of contact for sharing knowledge with other team members regarding query resolution.
Minimum Qualifications:
In order to be eligible for this position, you are expected to satisfy the following prerequisites:
Demonstrate practical experience in intercompany accounting for sales and services.
Possess hands-on experience in General Ledger closing activities.
Exhibit strong analytical skills.
Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
Collaborate seamlessly with global accounting teams and have the ability to independently resolve issues, if they arise.
Display high energy and be a valuable team player.
Show the capability to work efficiently across different time zones and geographies while engaging with key global stakeholders.
Experience with SAP ERP is desirable for General Ledger tasks.
Proficiency in MS Suite applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Prior experience in reviewing balance sheet account reconciliations is a plus.
